Girl's night!!!

So, last night was the first spend-the-night party that Melanie, Laura, and I had done in quite a while. I went over to Melanie's at about 7. Had dinner with Mama Lawrence and Melanie. Lot's of girl talk. Then we watched Christmas Vacation. And, we had apple cider!!! Mama Lawrence makes the best apple cider! Laura came over at around 10. We talked a bit while watching Daddy Daycare. Then we watched Law and Order. We finally went to sleep at around 1 or so.

Today, we got up at around eight, had breakfast, got ready, and then headed out for a fun-filled day of shopping. I got the rest of the boy's gift and about half the cards I needed to pick up. We went to McAllister's for lunch, and I'm sure that a bunch of people thought we were crazy. We wanted to get a picture with all of us in it, so we all squeezed into two chairs and took the picture...about 10 times because we couldn't get everyone in it. After lunch we went to the Galleria. We spent the afternoon trying to come up with ideas so we could tell the boys what we want for Christmas. But, the best part of the day was just getting to talk and catch up.
